Strathcona County RCMP seeks public assistance in road rage incident

 

Sherwood Park, Alta. – On July 20, 2023 at approximately 5:02 p.m., Strathcona County RCMP received a report of a road rage that involved a serious assault. One of the males required medical attention as a result of the injuries sustained during the incident.

Police determined that two trucks were travelling eastbound on Wye Road when they both stopped near Ordze Road in Sherwood Park, Alta. An altercation took place between the two male drivers where one male sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

The second male left the scene in a dark coloured truck and described as 6’1” tall, 250 pounds, bald and wearing a sleeveless leather jacket.

Strathcona County RCMP are seeking dashcam footage and witnesses in connection to this road rage incident. Anyone who has information or footage from July 20, 2023 between 4:50 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., on Wye Road near Ordze Road are asked to please contact the Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.
