Strathcona County RCMP investigate armed robbery at local pharmacy

 

Sherwood Park, Alta. – Strathcona County RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in an armed robbery that occurred at a local pharmacy.

 

On Nov. 6, 2021 at 9:25 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart located on Cloverbar Road in Sherwood Park, Alta. Three suspects entered and brandished knives to the pharmacy staff and proceeded to demanded pharmaceuticals. The suspects left with an unknown amount of prescription pills and fled in a vehicle. No physical injuries were reported.

 

Description of suspects:

 

Suspect #1:

 

  • Darker skinned male
  • Wearing black pants (with white logo on left thigh), black hoodie (hood up), white shoes and a blue surgical mask

 

Suspect #2:

 

  • Caucasian
  • 5’6” to 5’7” tall
  • 160-170 lbs
  • Wearing a black hoodie (white rim hood warn up), black and white running shoes and blue surgical mask

 

Suspect #3:

 

  • Black male
  • 6’0” to 6’1” tall
  • 160 -170 lbs
  • Wearing a white hoodie (white Nike logo on left side), black pants, black shoes and blue surgical mask
