Strathcona County RCMP host Emergency Services and Public Safety Showcase

The Strathcona County RCMP is excited to announce they’re hosting an Emergency Services and Public Safety Showcase in Sherwood Park at the Salisbury Composite High school parking lot on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025.

This outdoor event provides an opportunity for the public to interact with emergency services and public safety agencies from the area.

The showcase will include information booths, vehicles and equipment displays from Strathcona County including: RCMP, Enforcement Services, Emergency Services, Victim Services, Family Community Services, Transportation Engineering Operations, Library, Crime Watch Association and Citizens on Patrol. Other agencies in attendance include: Edmonton Regional Search & Rescue Association,Canadian Pacific Kansas City Police Service, Alberta Sheriffs and Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Services, Wildlife Enforcement Directorate Environment and Climate Change Canada, MADD Edmonton & Area Chapter, Utility Safety partners and a demonstration will be given by one of the Canadian Search Dog Association’s validated search and rescue dogs.

This event is a great opportunity for the public to interact with us in a way they normally can’t, to get to know us better and to find out more about the role emergency response and public safety agencies play in their community.

The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to take advantage of this opportunity to meet your local Emergency Service personnel and participate in hands-on activities and displays.
